Hans Jakob – der Natur- und Tiermaler aus Thun (CH)

Das Malen und Skizzieren von Tieren und Landschaften war zeitlebens die grosse Leidenschaft von Hans Jakob.

Geboren am 1. April 1927, widmete er einen grossen Teil seines Lebens der Naturbeobachtung und ihrer künstlerischen Darstellung. Seine Bilder spiegeln die Verbundenheit zur Tierwelt, zu den Bergen, Wäldern und Landschaften wider, die ihn während seines langen Lebens begleitet haben.

Heute, im hohen Alter, hat Hans Jakob einen besonderen Wunsch: Er möchte erleben, dass seine verbleibenden Werke Menschen finden, die diese Art der Malerei ebenso schätzen wie er selbst. Menschen, die eine Beziehung zur Natur, zu Tieren und zu traditioneller, handgemalter Kunst haben.

Besonders inspiriert wurde er von den bekannten Tiermalern Rien Poortvliet und Fritz Laube. Seine Werke zeigen dieselbe Liebe zum Detail, die Achtung vor den Tieren und die Freude an der Natur.

Die Sammlung umfasst vorwiegend Aquarelle, daneben einige Öl- und Ölkreidebilder. Die Aquarelle wurden auf hochwertigem Aquarellpapier ausgeführt, die Ölkreidearbeiten auf Karton und die Ölbilder auf Leinwand.

Besichtigung

Die hier gezeigten Bilder stellen nur einen Teil des vorhandenen Werkes dar. Es sind zahlreiche weitere Bilder verfügbar.

Interessierte sind herzlich eingeladen, die Bilder nach Terminvereinbarung vor Ort zu besichtigen. Die Bildergrössen sind auf den Bildern notiert, sie entsprechen  der Malereigrösse,  also ohne Passepartout und Rahmen. Wenn eine Bestellung mit Versand stattfindet, akkzeptiere ich eine Vorauszahlung nur via PayPal, inkl. der Verpackungs- und Versandkostenkosten. Diese sind pro Bild um die         CHF 30.- bis CHF 40.- je nach Bildgrösse.

Hans Jakob – the nature and animal painter from Thun (Switzerland)

Painting and sketching animals and landscapes has been Hans Jakob's great passion throughout his life.

Born on April 1, 1927, he devoted a large part of his life to observing nature and expressing its beauty through art. His paintings reflect a deep connection with wildlife, mountains, forests, and landscapes that accompanied him throughout his long life.

Today, at an advanced age, Hans Jakob has a special wish: he would like to see his remaining works find their way to people who appreciate this style of painting as much as he does — people who have a connection to nature, animals, and traditional hand-painted art.

He was particularly inspired by the renowned wildlife painters Rien Poortvliet and Fritz Laube. His works reveal the same attention to detail, respect for animals, and appreciation for the natural world.

The collection consists mainly of watercolors, complemented by a number of oil paintings and oil pastel works. The watercolors were created on high-quality watercolor paper, the oil pastel works on cardboard, and the oil paintings on canvas.

The paintings shown here represent only a portion of the available collection. Many additional works are available.

Interested visitors are warmly invited to view the paintings in person by appointment. The image sizes these are noted on the pictures, they correspond to the painter's size, so without passe-partout and frame. For orders that require shipping, I only accept prepayment via PayPal, including packaging and shipping costs. These costs range from approximately CHF 30 to CHF 40 per print, depending on the size of the print.
